The ARP Data Repository has successfully obtained certification from the MTMT Repository Certification Committee, becoming the first data repository in Hungary to receive the title of Certified Data Repository.

The MTMT Repository Certification Committee is responsible for certifying domestic repositories according to a uniform set of criteria, providing professional support and quality assurance, and ensuring that the Hungarian Science Bibliography (Magyar Tudományos Művek Tára, MTMT) is backed by a controlled, reliable repositories. The committee's activities now extend not only to publication repositories but also to data repositories, issuing certificates to those repositories that meet professional, technical, and quality assurance requirements based on submitted self-assessments and documentation. Certified repositories are entitled to use an official seal certifying the successful completion of the procedure.

The committee developed the certification requirements in line with international standards, so ARP certification is not only a form of domestic professional recognition, but also the first step towards international certification.

The certification confirms our commitment to developing high-quality, transparent, and sustainable research data management services, supporting the domestic and international implementation of Open Science practices.
