The Concorda data repository, renewed under the ELKH ARP project, now allocates handle-type persistent identifiers to data packets.
The handle system is a persistent object identifier system used worldwide, defined in RFC 3650, 3651 and 3652, and is the basis for many persistent identifiers, including the widely known Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
From now on all newly created data packets will have a valid persistent handle identifier, and previously created data packets will also have a valid handle in place of their temporary identifier. The related migration is in progress.
