On November 20, the informal Data Steward meeting series—jointly organized by the ELTE Digital Heritage National Laboratory (ELTE DH-LAB), the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform (HUN-REN ARP), and Pro-M Zrt.—continued.
At the forum two presentations were given. The first one by Ákos Pozsonyi, an employee of Alfa Insurance and an alumnus of the first cohort of ELTE’s data stewardship program. He spoke about the insurer’s data-management processes, roles, and responsibilities.
In the second presentation, Ádám Száldobágyi, data steward at the University and National Library of the University of Debrecen, reported on his experiences at the EOSC Symposium. Colleagues from SZTAKI DSD, László Kovács and Balázs Pataki, as well as Pro-M’s data steward, Ákos Lencsés, who also participated in the symposium, shared their own experiences.
During the discussion that emerged from the presentations, questions regarding EOSC (see more in ARP Glossary) in Hungary were addressed by the participant.
