Krakó, Attila

He graduated from the Szatmárnémeti Református Gimnázium. He earned his degree in physics at the University of Debrecen, receiving his BSc in 2018 and MSc in 2020. In 2021, he began his PhD at HUN-REN ATOMKI as a student of the University of Debrecen, focusing on “The interaction of collective and individual modes of motion in rotating nuclei” within the nuclear physics program. Alongside his duties as a data steward, he is currently in the process of completing his doctoral degree.
As the data steward of HUN-REN INR (ATOMKI), he provides support for research as needed. His responsibilities include assisting with the preparation of data management plans for grant proposals, managing the institute's data storage within the ARP Repository, and helping colleagues who use it.
The role of a data steward involves understanding the research topics and internal work dynamics of various research groups, particularly in relation to how they manage their research data.
“In this position, I learn many new things—about science in general, from my colleagues, and from fellow data stewards. I now encounter perspectives I had never considered before.”
