He earned his degree from the Faculty of Architecture at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2020. Having studied folk dance since childhood, his interest in the field led him to the Institute for Musicology at the Humanities Research Centre, where he combined his technical background with a passion for the arts by participating in all stages of digitizing folk dance film recordings. Driven by a deep interest in the technical preservation of historical documents, he completed the accredited training course “Preventive Conservation in Museums” offered by the Museum Collection Preservation Committee and later became an Ambassador for the ARP Data Repository.

As the data steward at the HUN-REN Research Centre for the Humanities, his main goal is to enrich the methodological toolkit of the humanities with a data-driven perspective. To support this, he formalizes recommended procedures in institutional policies for research data management, assists in the data-related aspects of research grant applications, collaborates with data protection and digitization experts, and collects, organizes, and disseminates accumulated knowledge related to data management to researchers.

“As a data steward, it’s essential to gain a thorough and informed understanding of the wide spectrum of research fields within our centre. I encounter many inspiring people and fascinating projects. What I enjoy most is when I can mutually broaden perspectives through exchanges with researchers.”
