The way research data is published is a key question for the research community: where, how and in what form is it possible to publish the data? Data journals are publishing platforms that primarily make research datasets accessible, thereby increasing their visibility and citation, and the diversity of publishing practice.
Making data accessible and the role of data journals is increasingly emphasized in the practice of open science. At the XII. event of the Find a Treasure (Kincs, ami van) series, participants will discuss the challenges and opportunities of the visibility, reusability and role of research data in research evaluation in a roundtable discussion.
Participants:
László Gadár - environmental engineer, data analyst, researcher (University of Pannonia Network of Research Excellence)
Péter Kókay - research support librarian (University of Pécs Library and Knowledge Center)
Szilvia Maróthy - independent researcher, founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Digital Humanities (2017-2024)
Moderator:
Gabriella Virág - data steward (Centre for Social Sciences, ARP)
The event is free and does not require registration. The event will be recorded.
