The NETWORKSHOP conference is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Organized by the HUNGARNET Association between March 31 and April 2, 2026, this year’s edition of the most prestigious domestic conference on computer networking and applied information technology in higher education, public education, research, and public collections will be hosted by the University of Debrecen.

This year’s multi-day program will feature lightning talks in addition to lectures, interactive presentations, tutorials, and mini-workshops. Key topics of the conference include “Data Repository Systems and Networks,” “Long-Term Preservation and Web Archiving,” “Major Trends in AI Applications: Service Developments in Content Delivery,” and “New Network Technology Solutions.”

The ARP team will participate in the program with a presentation and an interactive session:

  • Júlia Egyed-Gergely (ELTE Faculty of Humanities), Enikő Meiszterics (ELTE TK) and Gabriella Virág (ELTE TK) present an interactive session titled "Treasure hunt in the ARP" focusing on the potential role of the ARP Data Repository in scientific and interdisciplinary research as well as in market applications, the potential of data reuse, the vast data resources available in the ARP repositories, and the methods for searching within them.
  • Balázs Pataki (HUN-REN SZTAKI) In his presentation titled “Data Scientist Assistant at ARP,” he demonstrates a new generation of AI-powered data repositories through a theoretical and practical demonstration of the capabilities and services of the “VibeARP Caos” AI agent, which is currently under development for use with the ARP Data Repository.
