The Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) is an international standard for describing the data produced by surveys and other observational methods in the social, behavioral, economic, and health sciences. It offers a comprehensive metadata framework that supports documentation throughout the entire research data lifecycle - from planning, data collection, and processing, to analysis and long-term archiving. The DDI community - comprising researchers, data stewards, and developers - promotes transparency, interoperability, and reusability of research data, all core principles of FAIR data management.
The meeting will bring together DDI users and professionals from all over Europe and the world. Submissions are welcome in the form of complete sessions, presentations, short presentations, posters, tutorials, workshops, or side meetings.
Submission deadline: 1 September 2026, 23:59 CEST
