At the end of November, the HUN-REN ARP 2024 Ambassador Program successfully concluded. Following the first call in 2023, the 2024 edition featured two application rounds: previous ARP ambassadors could apply to continue their roles, while new applicants had the opportunity to join the program.
After the evaluation process, 16 researchers and research support professionals from 12 HUN-REN institutions participated in the 8-month program. All successfully met the program's requirements:
- They completed the ARP training,
- Gained expertise in modern research data management and open science,
- Became familiar with ARP services,
- Deposited new research data—from agricultural sciences, energy sciences, geology, neuroscience, literary studies, limnology, ethnography, medical sciences, ecology, archaeology, history, and musicology—into the ARP Data Repository,
- Shared their knowledge and experiences within their institutions and scientific communities,
- Fulfilled their individual commitments made at the start of the program.
At the conclusion of the 2024 Ambassador Program, all new ambassadors, alongside the previous ones, earned the ARP Ambassador Certificate and the ARP Ambassador title. Moving forward, researchers from various fields can confidently reach out to the ambassadors for guidance on research data, data deposition, data sharing, and the opportunities available through the ARP Data Repository Platform.
Congratulations to all our ARP Ambassadors!
