Two members of HUN-REN SZTAKI and the ARP team, László Kovács and Balázs Pataki, represented the Data Repository Platform at the EOSC Winter School 2026. The SZTAKI staff presented their latest ARP developments and future plans. They discussed software and component customizations based on ARP technologies (Dataverse, CEDAR, RO-Crate, knowledge graphs, AI assistants), integration and service provisioning for EOSC Nodes, as well as developments and automation solutions for research data workflows.
The EOSC held its third Winter School in Nice, France, from January 27 to 29, 2026. The event was organized by EOSC-A with the support of the EOSC Gravity project.
Like the first two Winter Schools, the third also provided an opportunity for members of the EOSC community to meet, from Horizon Europe projects related to EOSC, through EOSC-A Task Forces and EOSC Opportunity Area Expert Groups, to the EOSC-A Board and Secretariat, as well as the European Commission.
An important goal of the three-day event series was to provide participants with a wide range of opportunities to connect with the first wave of EOSC Nodes, seek opportunities for collaboration, find partners for potential joint applications, and gain insight into future calls for proposals.
Detailed information about EOSC Winter School 2026 is available on their website. Summaries and materials from previous events are available on the EOSC Winter School 2025 and EOSC Winter School 2024 pages.
