ELTE Data Steward Training (2025/26)

In the 2025/26 academic year, the ELTE Department of Digital Humanities will relaunch Hungary’s first specialized training program for data stewards that awards an official certificate.

The program trains professionals operating at the intersection of library and information science, digital humanities, and IT technology, who possess high-level knowledge of techniques for managing digitized or digitally born data. Through learning about practices at both Hungarian and international research institutions and collections, participants will acquire extensive, systematic knowledge of the areas, models, workflows, and technologies of data management.

The program is particularly aimed at researchers (from any scientific field), library and collection experts, and professionals working in scientometrics, research support, and research management. Applicants must hold a BA or MA degree and have English language proficiency at level B2.

The application deadline is June 2, 2025. Further information about the program and the application process is available at this link.
