Júlia Egyed-Gergely is responsible for the promotion of the ARP project and the dissemination of its services. She is involved in scientific activities related to data repositories, organizing events and networking as well as content editing for the ARP Portal. She also contributes to the drafting of recommendations and regulations necessary for the operation of the system, the promotion of the data repository culture and the training of researchers in modern research data management. She is member of the team developing, organising and implementing the ARP Ambassador Programme, the liaison network of research institutions, and the Kincs, ami van (Find a Treasure) awareness-raising program series of ARP and HRDA. Previously, she participated in a survey and interview research supporting the development of ARP services.
Júlia is a sociologist specialising in market and public opinion research, urban sociology and research data management, with a PhD in agglomeration strategies. Since the beginning of 2021, she has been working as a data manager and archivist at the Research Documentation Centre (RDC) of TK, responsible for managing, storing and sharing scientific research data. Her knowledge of the operation and management of repositories, as well as the information she obtained on the open science movement, research data management and the value of research data, provided her with an important foundation for the ARP project. She also has experience in thesaurus construction, metadata schema creation and algorithm-based metadata management, thanks to previous projects at the KDK.
