
Júlia Egyed-Gergely focuses on modern research data management, the culture of data repositories, and the promotion and dissemination of ARP services. She is responsible for the ARP Roadshow, which presents the potential and usage of ARP, the Kincs, ami van (Find a Treasure) roundtable discussion series of ARP and HRDA, which explores topics related to research data, and the ARP Portal. She is a developer and organizer of the ARP Ambassador Program and the HUN-REN Data Steward Network, as well as the related training programs. She participates in the survey and interview research projects supporting the development of ARP services.
Júlia is a sociologist specialising in market and public opinion research, urban sociology and research data management, with a PhD in agglomeration strategies. Since early 2021, she has been working as a data stuart and collection management associate at the Research Documentation Centre (RDC) of Center for Social Sciences (CSS), responsible for research data management. The knowledge she gained at RDC regarding the operation and management of repositories, open science, research data, and data management has provided a solid foundation for the ARP project. Thanks to previous RDC projects, she also has experience in thesaurus construction and algorithm-assisted metadata tagging.
