Artificial intelligence tools are becoming increasingly available to a wider audience, with ever greater capabilities. The pace of growth is accelerating at a rate that is difficult to keep up with, even for professionals and researchers in the field.
At this roundtable discussion in the Find a treasure series, we explored the current and potential future role of AI in research with our guests. We sought answers to questions such as:
- What practices, tools, knowledge, and awareness characterize researchers in the scientific sphere?
- Which AI tools can support researchers and in what ways?
- What data analysis tasks can AI tools help with, and what is needed to produce scientifically accepted results from data and AI-supported analysis?
- How can AI support the creation and processes of interdisciplinary research?
Participants:
- Roland Hollós – AI ambassador, HUN-REN Agricultural Research Center
- Anita Rácz – AI ambassador, HUN-REN Natural Sciences Research Center
- Levente Szabados – AI expert, Neuron Solution LTD.
Moderator:
- Henrietta Farkas – Data Management Specialist, HUN-REN HQ
We welcome anyone interested in attending the discussion in person at the ELTE Centre for Social Sciences JTI Meeting Room (1097 Budapest, Tóth Kálmán utca 4.) or online.
