On November 14, 2024, we held the second informal Hungarian Data Steward Meeting, organized by the HUN-REN Data Repository Platform (ARP), ELTE Digital Heritage National Laboratory (DH-LAB), and the Governmental Agency for IT Development (KIFÜ). The goal of this event series is to help Hungarian data stewards and professionals working with research data connect, learn about each other's work, share knowledge, and discuss key developments and challenges in the field.

During the event, we heard about data stewardship tasks emerging at Budapest Corvinus University (BCE), discussed the FAIR-IMPACT workshops, and reviewed recent and upcoming major events, including the EOSC Tripartite Event, the 10th Open Science Forum, and the official launch of ARP. Additionally, participants shared their first experiences with the HUN-REN Data Steward Network and the related ARP training program. After the thematic discussions, attendees had the opportunity for informal networking.

The event, supported by Skills4EOSC, was hosted by the Central Library of Budapest Corvinus University.

In addition to the organizing institutions, participants came from a wide range of organizations, including:
